Outstanding Service Award

The Outstanding Service Award is presented to an individual or agency that has made a significant contribution to improving access for boaters and anglers to our nation’s public waters. These contributions can include obtaining funding at the national or state level for boating access acquisition or improvement, enacting legislation or policies that protect and improve the public’s right to access the nation’s waters, and similar activities.

This award is presented at SOBA's Annual Education & Training Symposium.



Eligibility:

Individuals and agencies are eligible. Both members and non-members of the States Organization for Boating Access (SOBA) can apply or be nominated.

All nominations should be submitted through SOBA's online nomination form.
